Bethel Presbyterian

Bethel Presbyterian Church in Port Gibson, Mississippi, was founded in 1824 by a group that split from the Bayou Pierre Presbyterian Church. This church was part of the early expansion of Presbyterianism in the region. Located near Port Gibson, the church has a rich history tied to the early settlers and religious development of the area. Today, the church building is a testament to the early 19th-century religious architecture and community life in the Mississippi countryside.
